One-paragraph summary of each file. Read this first for a map of everything.

## Me

- **[me.md](me.md)** — Cameron's core identity, goals, values, and preferences. USC CS PhD student focused on robotics + 3D vision. Long-term goal: build useful home robots and eventually pursue independent robotics work. Values data efficiency, practical methods, fast iteration, and concrete experiments over abstraction.

## Active Projects

- **[projects/para.md](projects/para.md)** — PARA (Pixel-Aligned Robot Actions): Cameron's primary research project. Predicts robot actions as per-pixel distributions along camera rays instead of global pose regression. High priority, nearest-term paper direction. Stub here — full project context lives in `/data/cameron/para/`.
- **[projects/567-course-project.md](projects/567-course-project.md)** — Course project on augmentation/viewpoint robustness. Has a project website hosted via ngrok. Details and timeline still sparse.
- **[projects/robot_arm.md](projects/robot_arm.md)** — Building a low-cost SO100-style robot arm as a real-world research platform. Covers CAD/print workflow (Blender + Bambu printers), servo-based design, calibration/fiducial integration, and sim-to-real alignment. Active build in progress.

## Areas

- **[areas/phd.md](areas/phd.md)** — Comprehensive PhD context. Research at intersection of robotics, computer vision, and 3D geometry. Covers research interests, PARA direction, video models for robotics, calibration/fiducials, simulation vs real-world philosophy, and what kind of help is most useful. The most detailed file in the KB.
- **[areas/tri_internship.md](areas/tri_internship.md)** — 12-week summer internship at Toyota Research Institute starting May 26, 2026. Covers housing search (Mountain View / Los Altos area, ~$2000-2600/mo budget), commute preferences, and goals for the internship. Immediate tasks: finalize housing, keep USC research moving.
- **[areas/finances.md](areas/finances.md)** — PhD-phase financial reality and philosophy. Living at home as a strategic advantage, keeping burn low, avoiding lifestyle creep, spending intentionally on health/research/relationships. Practical priorities and common pitfalls.
- **[areas/health.md](areas/health.md)** — Comprehensive fitness, physique, and spiritual health goals. Strength targets (225 bench, 315 squat, 405 dead), sub-6 mile, aesthetic physique, daily meditation, Khanega/Sufism weekends. Non-negotiables: gym, 10k steps, meditation, controlled calories, sleep discipline.

## Resources

- **[resources/people.md](resources/people.md)** — Key people and relationships. Izzy (girlfriend), family (living at home, Persian cultural context), friends (wants richer social life across multiple groups), lab mates, and spiritual community (Khanega/Sufism). Core theme: balance across all relationships, don't collapse into one.

## Journal

- **[journal/2026-04-06.md](journal/2026-04-06.md)** — Today's journal entry. Empty so far.
