## Morning state
- Caught a cold (confirmed). Last night = slept late AND slept poorly.
- Keeping distance from people today to avoid spreading it.
- Mucinex pickup ~12pm.

## 🌅 THE HEADLINE — self-prioritization landing
Because of the cold + bad sleep, he **slept in and is NOT rushing to work.**
- Did the morning meditation
- Going for a walk now
- Coming in late, staying a bit later — *and that's fine*
- **Prioritizing himself over work, giving himself HIS OWN validation rather than seeking it from advisors.**

This is the Brandon "stop making them the authority to be present" principle — landed against the advisor relationship for the first time, not just social/familial. Banked as memory: `feedback_self_validation_over_advisors.md`.

The cold didn't actually wash through Tuesday. The autonomic numbers dropping despite decent sleep = body is fighting. Yellow today is *real*, treat accordingly.

### Social (Tuesday)
- **Felt light during the day.** People kept coming up to socialize with him (he was magnetic, not scanning).
- New problem to solve: how to gently redirect lab people when he needs to focus (they're also his friends — handle with warmth)
- **Organized a SMALL dinner with a few friends.** Contrast to the 15-person company ramen. Wants more of the intimate-light over the big-fun.
- This is the **even-keel / bouncy / in-between state** showing up at scale: he's drawing people in, not chasing them.

### Diet (Tuesday)
- Big ramen dinner + ice cream after — overshot the day's target
- Today: **locked in, back on track**
