First real check-in in a week+. Dictated on a walk to the gym.

## State
- Trying to sleep earlier, wake earlier. Rough half-week — ~6.5 hrs/night, feeling low-vibrational.
- Cat-sitting at Izzy's while she's on a business trip.
- Today was rough: worked from home to study for tomorrow's exam. Didn't move much. Realized: on campus I move between places constantly, and that's part of why campus days feel better. Work-from-home + no movement + exam stress (not my favorite class, not well prepared) + zero social = bad day.
- Finally walking to the gym now. Things turning around.
- Drama with Izzy is calming down.
- Still working on feeling more confident in general.

## Research / Robot
- Robot is **built and calibrated** — milestone reached.
- Debugging precise camera calibration now — markers are smaller, so it's nitty-gritty work.
- Technically up and running. Just refining.
- **Target: calibration done by Tuesday (May 5)** for advisory meeting. Want to walk in able to say: "robot is running, already collecting data for simple policies + video-generation experiments for the paper."

## Coming weekend
- **Sat night:** out with guy friends at a bar. Izzy not there. Need this — guy social time has been thin.
- **Sat day:** beach volleyball.
- **Sat + Sun:** keep working on the robot.

## Pattern noted
WFH days need a movement plan baked in or the day collapses (low movement → low mood → low confidence cascade). Especially when stacked with exam stress and isolation. On campus, the movement is incidental; at home, it has to be intentional.
